Open Studios Borgerstraat

National and international artists present their work at the SKAR studio building. The 2018 Open Studios Borgerstraat is located at a five minute walk from the Van Nelle Factory.

Some 24 artists open their ateliers and there are works by over 20 guest artists.  There’s also a presentation by a selected number of Willem the Kooning Academie students and a programme with artist-talks and projects in-, under- and around the building.

Studio Borgerstraat artists, among others.: Dagmar Baumann, Mieke Borgdorff, Peter Dijkshoorn, Sebastian Haquin, Fenneke Hordijk, Wilma Kun, Gert Rietveld, Niels Smits van Burgst, Kathrin Wolkowicz.

Magazine
The fourth edition of the Borgerstraat publication addresses realities enlacing art production, presenting works and texts by more than 30 artists and writers. It will be available at many locations of the Rotterdam Art Week.
